Dear Representative Lou Correa, 

On behalf of The Korean American Vietnam War Veterans Association SW Region, I 

respectfully ask for your assistance regarding the implementation of the Korean American VALOR Act (Public Law 118-20). 

This important law was enacted to recognize Republic of Korea veterans who fought alongside 

U.S. forces in Vietnam and later became residents or citizens of the United States. While 

Congress has acted, many veterans are still waiting for the law to be fully implemented. 

We respectfully request your assistance in obtaining an official status update from the 

Department of Veterans Affairs and in encouraging the prompt completion of all necessary implementation steps. 

Our veterans served with honor and stood beside American service members in defense of freedom. They deserve timely access to the benefits provided under the law. 

Thank you for your continued service and support of America's veterans.

우리 참전용사들은 명예롭게 복무했으며 자유 수호를 위해 미군 장병들과 어깨를 나란히 했습니다.

그들은 마땅히 이 법에 따른 혜택을 적시에 누릴 자격이 있습니다.
